What isn't in the Software should be the question- SurroundCast packs everything
you need to start an HD Internet Radio Experience. We provide the direct access
to Internet Radio Stations, and luxury processors like SRS, Digital Theater, Orion
DSP ect.. You choose the effects, the station and off you go..-

What do I need for SurroundCast?
SurroundCast is a Windows software program, that works only in the
Windows Environment- in the near future we will be moving some software technology to Apple and externals- but in the meantime you need the Windows Operating System-and
a computer with at least Headphones capability- Multi-Channel Speakers will give
a more wide experience in your room (but not at all required).
How does SurroundCast process (2) Channel Stations?
SurroundCast uses SRS CSII to convert (2) Channel Stations to Surround HD Environment- Users enjoy the full Theater experience even with standard Radio
Stations-
Can I use SurroundCast even though I have only
2 Speakers? - Yes, SurroundCast was designed also to enhance
your (2) Speaker environment- and maximize the audio to simulate 5.1-6.1 HD Audio-
How many stations do I get with SurroundCAST?
You get them all (usually around 425-465 Stations) -
all trial users and owners share the same Live Directory from Orion Studios - there
is
no special packages or premiums for stations. Station availability is dependent
on the Stations themselves - if a station becomes unavailable due to service/broadcasting
we will not display those in the directory -
What is the difference between
the trial version and the full version?
Nothing, the main program (SurroundCAST) that is installed on Windows is the same
for both trial users and full. The Directory is connected to a Directory Center
in California, Users login with trial and full version accounts -
What type of Technical Support is available?
Orion Studios offers a full Suite of Technical Resources located here..we
offer technical support for both trial and full version users. Owners will
usually receive first service followed by trial users!
Some Stations are listed as Busy - what is that?
Internet Stations usually have a max limit of users per resource-
we will always try to get you the first in line request to get connected to the
station (most popular connection).
After purchase of SurroundCAST - how long is my Software valid for?
As long as we offer Directory services- so even if the major versions
change your directory will remain secure. Please make note that users of subsequent
versions will be notified that a Upgrade Exists at startup of the program -
SurroundCAST Trial is a (7 Day All Access Trial) - No Services have been shut off
for the trial version- You get it all!
